Product Introduction

CT1005 is a hih-performance PWM controller applied to isolated flyback ACDC switching power supplies. The chip integrates high-voltage power switch tubes. Suitable for switch mode power supplies less than 30W, with extremely high cost-effectiveness.

CT1005 has a constant power function, especially suitable for small and medium power switching power supplies such as PD chargers and power adapters. The extremely low starting and operating currents, as well as the Burst Mode function under light or no load conditions, can effectively reduce the standby power consumption of the switching power supply system and improve power conversion efficiency. The built-in synchronous slope compensation and front edge blanking of feedback pins not only reduce the number of components in the switching power supply system, but also increase the stability of the system and avoid the generation of harmonic oscillations. The optimized control mode enables the chip to have higher efficiency, faster transient response, and lower standby power consumption. Simultaneously using internal frequency jitter technology can better handle EMI.

CT1005 has a wide VCC voltage range and can operate normally from 7.6V to 55V, making it very suitable for 20W PD applications and greatly facilitating the design of transformers and power supply components.

CT1005 integrates comprehensive protection mechanisms, such as cycle by cycle peak current limitation, VCC overvoltage protection and undervoltage locking, output short circuit protection, internal over temperature protection function, and soft start function, which can effectively protect devices and avoid device damage.
